BIOGRAPHY
1951년 부산에서 태어났으며, 베트남어과를
전공하다가 베트남전에 참전하게 된다.
이후 미국으로 건너가 본격적으로 미술을 배우기 시작한다. 뉴올리언스에서
표현주의 그룹 ‘Idists’을 결성하였으며,
몬트리올 브롱프먼센터, 사아치&사아치 개관전 등에 참여하는 등 활발한 작품활동을
하였다. 1993년부터
티벳불교미술에 관심을 가지게 되어 티벳, 네팔
등에서 거주하며 작업을 하였다. 한국에서는 선화랑, 필립강갤러리,
예화랑, 대구 인당박물관, 부산아트센터
등에서 개인전을 열었다, 국립현대미술관, 삼성리움미술관, 대전엑스포 등에 작품이 소장되어있다.
